Ricky Tomlinson (born 26 September 1939) is an English actor, comedian, and writer. He is known for his roles as:

Prior to his acting career, Tomlinson was a plasterer and a trade union activist. He was one of the Shrewsbury Two, convicted of unlawful assembly and conspiracy to intimidate during the 1972 national building workers' strike. His conviction was overturned in 2021.

Tomlinson has also appeared in films such as Riff-Raff and Mike Bassett: England Manager. He is a supporter of Liverpool F.C. and has released several books, including his autobiography.
